Every day, thousands of people get on airplanes ,some of them fearing for their lives. However, this fear is often non-substantial. Numerous precautions are taken on, and before every flight to safeguard the lives of passengers and the crew. There are federal laws which must be followed that allow the flight to operate safely. Most people who are scared to fly also fear that the airplane will crash. However, the risk is lower flying than driving. More car crashes occur every day compared to plane crashes, for several reasons. It is much more strict to be able to fly compared to driving a car; flying an airplane is a right not many people can say they have. Finally, many of the common fears people have can easily be disputed if they knew the truth. Many of the common fears have antidotes for them. The fears many people have, and the odd feeling they feel when they step aboard an airplane is not 100% uncommon for many people, including pilots when they first start. However, if people knew the truth, they would see that with all the facts, precautions, and numbers, flying is one of the safest ways of travel a person can do.
